Ingredients

chopped - about 2 onions

celery
chopped - about 1 bunch or 2 hearts

sweet pepper
chopped - about the same amount as jalapeƱos, maybe a little more

crushed tomatoes

Spices

chili powder

paprika

cumin

oregano

tsp
garlic powder
crushed red pepper or cayenne powder
to taste

or to taste

black pepper
or to taste
Instructions
In a large Dutch oven, brown ground round (if using regular ground beef, drain off fat after browning).
Add onions and celery and cook until crisp tender.
Add seasonings; stir.
Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste, stir well.
Simmer to at least 2 hours.
Serve in bowl, or add macaroni, cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, etc.
