Freezer Corn
Ingredients
- 16 cups corn cut off raw with a sharp knife (4 Quarts/24 ears)
- 3 cups water
- 4 tbsp butter (1/2 stick)
- 3-4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large kettle.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cool. Do not drain.
- Package in Ziploc freezer bags.
Notes
Yield: Seven 2-cup packages
This recipe takes about 24 ears of fresh corn.
